As He has touched me in allowing me to write them, I hope others will also feel and meet Him as they read through them, and discover as I did that He has been with them on their journey all along:

Finding Rest in Daily Life, because of rest with Him and others GERALD KNULL I came to the United States from Bremerhaven, West Germany, in 1959 at age six, moving into a multiracial setting in Newark, New Jersey, a severe culture shock. Three years later, we moved to the northern New Jersey suburbs, where I met my wife at the age of twelve in our junior high youth group.
Growing up in a mainline denominational church home, the reality of knowing God personally wasn't taught. We had our religion, but I was without the relationship I needed, and so my journey began.
I entered the Navy after one year of college, getting married a year into my tour of duty. My search for God continued, with many wrong turns along the way.
In 1978 we moved to southern Maryland, where I started my civilian career and found the answers to my questions in Jesus Christ as my Savior. The journey and adventure in Him are ongoing.
